Silent readers' advisory!

Okay, we won't be silent...we're too excited!  Next Thursday, May 19 from 5-7 pm, we're going to partner with Multnomah County Library's crack team of reader services librarians to offer book recommendations.  You tell us what you like and don't like, and what you're looking for, and we'll recommend a book for you.

For instance, you might tell us you liked Jane Eyre and American Psycho...and we might point you toward Jane Steele, by Lyndsay Faye.  (Seriously, it's great--check it out.)

The librarians at MCL always get a huge response to their recommendation events, so we're pretty thrilled to get to take part.  Apparently it involves a bunch of bookish people sitting in a room together on smoking laptops, shouting questions and answers to each other, and madly typing into the MCL Facebook page.

If you're looking for a book recommendation for our next SRP on Sunday, May 22, jump on the Multnomah County Library Facebook page and hit us up!  We can't wait to hear what you're reading!
